Trout Hatchery:
A visit to the center starts with a walk around the hatchery raceways. You’ll enjoy watching and feeding the brook, rainbow and brown trout that supply the commission’s hatchery-supported trout streams.
Exhibit:
Check out what’s blooming in the wildlife garden. Then walk an interpretive trail through a forest habitat for a glimpse of native wildlife. View an award-winning documentary on the natural history of the mountains and the ways the commission works with you to conserve our wildlife diversity. Then view live animals in the Mountain Wildlife exhibit.
Open from 8:00AM to 4:45PM Monday–Saturday from April through
November and Monday–Friday December through March. The Center is closed most State Holidays.
