Fly Fishing…Yes, we have dry fly hatches in December, January and February!Little Black Winter Stone Flies, Winter Caddis, Blue Winged Olives, Blue Quills and Quill Gordons are abundant at various times along the creeks and rivers through the winter months. There are generally fewer fly anglers out so you will have the streams almost all to yourselves. There are few things as beautiful as fly fishing a small stream in a light snow with icicles lining the creeks and the fish seem to love it as well.
