Tour four beautiful homes in Yancey County and support student scholarships all on the same day. The 10th Yancey County Dream Home Tour takes place on Friday, Oct. 4, and features homes across Yancey County.
This year’s homes include:
The Mountain Air Home of Warren and Larissa Bare: Enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views from this newly constructed mountain retreat.
Mudville, the fairy tale castle home of Dr. William and Kenna Anspach in Pensacola: Be whisked away into the imagination of the Anspach family as you spend time wandering through their one-of-a-kind home.
An off-the-grid farmhouse owned by Jon and Lucinda Williams: Back by popular demand, learn the innovative ways that this home operates fully off-the-grid.
The Celo home of David and Fran Strawn: Explore their extensive art collection, and you’ll recognize many familiar names from WNC.
Shuttle locations, maps and descriptions of each home will be mailed with each ticket. Tickets are available online, or at Mayland Community College’s Yancey Campus in Burnsville and the Yancey County Chamber of Commerce. Day-of tickets are available at Mountain Air’s Community Garden (one of the shuttle stops). Lunch tickets can be purchased for an additional fee.
