The 11th annual West Asheville Garden Stroll
Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 11am-4pm Rain or Shine
The stroll encompasses the Virginia Ave. area and surrounding neighborhood.
A kickoff celebration with songs and the stilt walking Faerie Kin will begin at 10:30 and Stroll guides containing a map and 17 garden descriptions will be available from 11am until 3:30pm at the Omega Middle School at 60 State St. 28806.
This year’s stroll will include among other things a permaculture layout with chickens, a backyard labyrinth, a Zen outpost, a garden inspired mural and a small intentional community. We are collaborating with Green Works and their Treasured Trees of West Asheville by pointing out some of the more grand trees along the stroll.
