September 29, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Event Navigation

Enjoy a good old-fashioned fall festival on Burnsville’s beautiful Town Square. The Yancey History Association invites everyone near and far to come out and be a part of the fun-filled day. Heritage crafters will demonstrate the old-timey methods of producing their crafts so that the younger generations can see how their ancestors made these wonderful items. Skills demonstrated include basket making, yarn spinning, corn grinding, beekeeping, candle making, quilting, rug making and many more. A parade of classic cars and trucks and antique tractors will take place on Main Street. Festival food, children’s activities and live bluegrass music round out the offerings.
