Homeplace Beer Company and Twisted Laurel present the next in an ongoing series of pop-up beer dinners at the historic Nu Wray Inn in Burnsville.
Twisted Laurel of Weaverville prepares a four-course, beer-themed menu. Each course is paired with unique Homeplace beers. Guests take home a seven-ounce commemorative glass.
First Course: Beer Cheese Soup, Mini Cornbread Muffins with Charred Green Onions and Fresno Peppers
Second Course: Hydroponic Artisan Greens tossed in Honey Mustard Vinaigrette on a bed of Bibb Lettuce, Beer Marinated Grilled Flank Steak, English Cucumbers, Green Tomato Bruschetta, Shredded Carrot
Third Course: Beer Braised Pork Shanks, Roasted Potatoes, Hand-Turned Carrots, Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Pan Sauce, Bavarian Mustard and Sweet Chili Lingonberry Compote
Fourth Course: “Beerimisu” and Lemon Squares
Weather permitting, the dinner will take place on the outside patio of the Nu Wray. In case of rain, the event will take place inside the inn’s dining hall.
Advance tickets required. In addition to online sales, the Homeplace taproom and Twisted Laurel restaurant will have a limited number of tickets for purchase.
