Historic Johnson Farm Spring Festival

Join us for the 30th Annual Spring Festival at Historic Johnson Farm, a heritage education center. Step back into the past for a family-friendly, entertaining event suitable for all family and individuals of all ages. The event is from 10 am to 4 pm. The festival features heritage crafts and activities, farm animals, house tours, live music by renowned youth fiddler Lillian Chase and the Deadpan String Band, food for purchase, and more! All activities take place on the 15-acre farm that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a NC Cultural Treasure. The farm features 10 historic structures including an 1880s brick farmhouse and a 1923 boarding house that is home to the Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.
