May 9, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$5.00
Micaville Music presents Grover Windham, Thursday May 9, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 in the OOAK Art Gallery. Cost for the concert is $5.00 at the door.
Grover Windham is the personification of the American singer/songwriter. Windham’s compositions are the crackling prose of his heart’s hidden holdings, his country’s complicated character and his mind’s musings mixed with the maudlin memories of a life well lived. To see Grover perform is an unwitting exercise in self discovery as his humor and stage presence disarm the audience before leading them through a sojourn of introspection and enlightened awareness. It’s a trek you want to take time and time again. “God bless the troubadours, and thank God that the Grover Windhams of the world are still practicing their craft.”
