Enjoy an evening of stargazing as you’ve never seen before. Through the 34-inch diameter Sam Scope, you can see the craters of the moon in detail, as well as Saturn’s rings and the eye of Jupiter. Take part in fun astronomy trivia and gain a greater knowledge of the night sky.
No parking is allowed at the observatory. Shuttles to and from the Earth to Sky Park parking lot will be provided. Please arrive promptly at your designated time to the parking lot located by the red quonset hut buildings. To get to the parking area take a left at the fork in the gravel road.
Dress comfortably for nighttime weather, as it is sometimes cool in the mounatin air. There are no water fountains at the observatory so bringing bottled water is recommended. Closed-toed shoes and a flashlight are also recommended.
The observatory will not be open during inclement weather or on cloudy nights. In the case of inclement weather, ticket holders are notified 36 hours prior to the event of any changes.
