Burnsville Metric

The annual Burnsville Metric kicks off the riding season in the idyllic Yancey County countryside. Cruise through the Toe River Valley on a 60.7-mile ride. The ride begins and ends on Burnsville Town Square, passing through the communities of Huntdale, Red Hill, Loafers Glory and Bakersville along the way. For less-experienced riders, a 43-mile loop provides a shorter option.
After the ride, Homeplace Beer Co. will host a celebration for riders, family and friends with food and craft beer.
Early registration is available; click here to register online. Day-of registration and packet pickup take place 7:15 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Ride begins promptly at 9 a.m.
